Visit to the Serra da Malcata Nature Reserve, considered one of the last natural refuges of the Portuguese territory, keeping in its interior interesting botanical and faunistic values, passing through the historical / cultural heritage of Penamacor. The afternoon begins with a visit to the Biodiversity Interpretation Center, located in Segura, in the Tagus International Natural Park, ensuring a well spent time for both adults and children. On the 2nd day, the itinerary includes a visit to a museum space in Castelo Branco, namely the Cargaleiro Museum, for its size, notoriety and estate. After lunch follows a boat trip departing from Vila Velha de Ródão Pier through the calm waters of the Tagus River, passing by the Portas de Ródão Natural Monument, where you can see the largest griffon colony in Portugal, as well as other species of avifauna and wildlife important in this region. On the third day, in Proença-a-Nova, you will have the opportunity to participate in the cultural activities- offered by the Center for Living Science of the Forest. Also visit the amazing Fraga da Água d'Alta Waterfalls and the Cabeço do Mosqueiro Viewpoint or, alternatively, visit the Álvaro Schist Village in Oleiros.
